I guess my brother just got lucky with my nephew from Bolivia. Great kid, and now married with two of his own. He was about 18 months old when adopted, so that definitely helped. Bolivia made them stay (and spend money) for a whole month before final processing.

This is weird thing to be mad about. A family used their own money and resources and time to try and help young children who had nothing. One went bad and that sucks

The odds that a subSaharan kid will turn bad are higher than a domestic kid. If you are going to adopt a kid why take on added unnecessary risk.
That is just stupid just like picking a DEI doctor.

Same story but Ukraine and both kids had terrible medical issues. The oldest also had mental issues culminating in stabbing his mother with a kitchen knife in the head. Blade broke off at her jaw and she somehow was able to get to a safe room and call 911. Great couple who spent their last penny to help their boys and they are now broke.
