Well yeah. They're politically motivated.

A pardon (be it presidential or a governor's) is nothing if not a "political" act.

If it's bad politics, the political actor will pay the consequences.

Now he's just trolling

Wasn't Blagojevich caught red handed trying to sell his seat?

Bragging about it.

@POTUS said he is strongly considering a commutation of the rest of former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich’s sentence. He said bragging about getting something back for a Senate appointment was “a stupid thing to say—but 18 years?”

I really don’t have problem with Trump’s pardons

I'm not losing my mind over them, but there is a concerning trend with them that could easily lead down the abuse of power road. The process in place gives the President some insulation from claims of abuse of power. Truth is, we could find questionable pardons from just about every President if we dug deep enough.

So, not a Pardon.

And, honestly, in today's political world, as scuzzy as it was, 18 years is just comical.

No there isn't. That shite's 100% in your head.

Which is why the above from me is 100% correct.

Is the guy who made the Muslim YouTube video and was arrested in the middle of the night still in jail?
Maybe Trump can pardon him too?
God, that would be such a major troll of the Dems, I fully support.
