President Trump to receive Luxury Jet from Qatar which will be used as Air Force One

How can this thing be used as Air Force One? I thought Air Force One had classified US Military equipment built into it.
JUST IN: The Trump administration is set to receive a Boeing 747-8 jumbo jet from Qatar's royal family, potentially the most valuable gift ever offered to the United States by a foreign government, according to ABC News.
The gift will be available for use by President Donald J. Trump as the new Air Force One until right before he leaves office, at which time ownership of the plane will be transferred to the Trump presidential library foundation.
The gift will be announced next week during Trump’s visit to Qatar."

Seems as if they'd definitely need to retrofit it and treat this as a Trojan horse.

How long will that take? I would expect that would take some time but they make it sound like Trump is about to start using this plane as Air Force One now

But why?
What’s wrong with the one we have for him?
Not quite sure but allowing any foreign country(friend or foe) to build something that important for our President just seems like a bad idea.
With technology today you never know where bugs and shite could be hidden so it’s a questionable decision.

Boeing was supposed to deliver a new one years ago but it has been delayed. This plane is a personal gift to Trump and will go with him after he leaves office

The current one is outdated. The two he negotiated with Boeing for are years behind schedule, and won’t be ready until after he leaves office. Boeing dropped the ball so he found an alternative.

There's no way this is true. There's more than one 747 used at different times as Air Force One. I believe they actually send both when the POTUS travels. The 747-8 is significantly different than the older 747s and the time and cost it would take to retrofit it with communication equipment, safety, paint, interior, on and on would never happen.
