I don't get it. Is there a plan we don't know about? He has to be able to read the state better than this.

Trump oftentimes selects candidates to endorse by which candidate would be the most subservient to him. That increases his personal power. That is what I think he is doing here.

Between Letlow and Fleming, there is no doubt that Letlow is the weaker of the two.

That’s why he’s doing a tele rally.

You’re a fricking retard. Trump rarely endorses his choice because of what he knows unless they make themselves known negatively to him like Cassidy or massie. He’s way too damn busy to be reading the history of these people and like most presidents relies on his advisors to tell him to endorse.
Unfortunately he’s surrounded by a bunch of rinos who can be bought to push endorsements.
Or he makes deals with Congress critters like Thune to endorse certain people to in return for help with his agenda.

So there will be a bunch of Letlow supporters on the phone at 4 p.m. on a workday. Weird flex, Julia.

It disappoints me that he is backing her. Sad!

I've gotten three Trump texts just today. I was hoping she was just re-releasing the old endorsement, but who am I kidding. Landry wants to run scams with her so that's about it.

Another RINO stooge. Trump is the greatest secret agent the dems ever had.

It seems no more complicated to me than he generally just tries to do what he can do in order to appease friendly Republican governors. People seem to be unable to separate themselves from their own biases to just be able to see it as simple as that.

He doesn't have time to pay attention to this race. He wanted Cassidy gone. Landry pushes Letlow at him. He takes Landry's advice, Landry would know, right? So Cassidy is now gone, Trump is happy. Now it's about standing by his endorsement. He still doesn't have time to pay attention to all that is going on in this race. He doesn't really care. Cassidy is gone.

When you get past all the fear mongering, Fleming and Letlow are going to vote the same 99.9% of the time. The difference is do you want someone voting that way for 6 years and then we start all over again or do you want someone to vote that way for 24 years while gaining seniority and status.

If Trump appointed a 74 yr old to the Supreme Court, everyone would lose their mind and talk about how short sighted it was

They have actual voting records that show this isn’t close to true. She’s terrible and corrupt

It’s bizarre to see Flemmings billboards with himself standing next to Trump. Hello moron, Trump is endorsing Letlow.

That’s it.

Fleming got outmaneuvered.

I doubt Trump knows or cares what our local issues are as long as Landry is kissing arse.

Trump has no clue who she is … this is a direct ask from Landry. He is working his tail off to get close to Trump and it’s working. What that ultimately provides for Louisiana is unknown.

Nothing but Trump and Lee Zeldin looking the other way when Landry fricks us. They probably have no clue what’s going happening on the ground here.

Landry has been playing this pretty slick to get what he wants.

I’m all for economic growth, but it appears to be more of the same old cronies in our legislature doing what they do.
