Yup. Cruz is an opportunistic count who hides behind his bible.

I wish we could deport him to Canada and his daddy to Cuba.

Ted Cruz is the only Republican who learned why people flocked to Trump in 2016. I'm all in for my governor next time but I wouldn't mind Cruz being VP or attorney general for the DeSantis administration.

Ted is telegraphing wanting to hold hands and Trump is totally sending the vibe, touch me and you die!

He should have taken off his wedding ring and slid the candle closer to Trump. The subliminal effect of a flickering flame between the two could have paid dividends.

Trump also got his buddy at the National Enquirer to run the story that Cruz’s father was in on the JFK assassination in Dallas.

To quote Kamala Harris on her negative campaigning against Biden, "it was a campaign!"

Would not be a good match. Cruz would bow down but the populist would take 4 more years of biden.

That's why I say "F That" to Don Jr's tweet today about Trump 2024. His dad is 76, he doesn't have four years to wait out 'The Steal'. Either it is resolved properly in the next year..or by 2024, it's Desantis time.

Ali's conscientious objector timeout was a skills ruster!

I can never respect the way Cruz totally rolled over for Trump after he attacked his wife the way he did.

I still resent Trump's primary antics in '16 - from the standpoint of how campaigns should be structured and conducted. BUT - there has never been a campaign conducted in my lifetime that meets the standards of 'good.'

Those that try to conduct moral campaigns suffer losses in every instance.

And this will continue to be the case until there is some sort of authority to monitor/sanction campaigns for "honesty" <-- a perhaps unachievable standard.

Aside from my revulsion of the dishonorable campaign tactics, I am now convinced that Trump's victory was the best thing that could have happened. I now believe that not one of the other candidates could have withstood the DEM attack prepared for them.

I now believe the DEMs wanted Trump as the nominee because they thought he'd be the easier to beat than Cruz (my personal favorite) et al. They were gloriously wrong (as was I)

It turns out that Trump was the cleanest candidate in modern history, in spite of his personal narcissism and flamboyant playboy behavior. And if you could disregard his behavior, every one of his promises were EXACTLY what good people knew to be required. In the general election we took the pragmatic choice of = 'which is least bad.' And that discriminator always points to the CONSERVATIVE candidate to be the proper choice - yes - even in terms of our 'worst' GOP presidents. <== every one of them was better than the DEM they ran against.

Every.Single.Time.

During this time of impending disaster from the left wing evil radicals, we do not have the luxury to wait for absolute perfection to everyone's standard, because that individual does not exist and never will.

All we can hope for is someone with enough grit and savvy and internal fortitude to carry us thru this period of unprecedented moral collapse.

Ted should have been a SCOTUS Justice but the GOPe would never have it. Turtle and Graham control the process. So they may as well admit they choose.

The democrats wouldn't hesitate as Biden said appointing Obama, Loretta Lynch, Eric Holder, Susan Rice, and politico's and major radical judge activists.

I love Ted Cruz but damned if he (and Rand Paul for that matter) isn’t one of the least photogenic people I’ve ever seen.

Cruz is best at a high cabinet law enforcement job, where he is now, or SCOTUS. He barely survived the media with his trip with his family.
