"My plan would help create 2 million more affordable homes.

And it would establish a $20 Billion Housing Innovation Fund to help communites build, renovate, and convert properties into places families want to live."

If my math is correct that works our to an incredible $10,000 per home. Maybe he's putting bunks in abandoned retail spaces.

We've sent a trillion to Ukraine? When did that happen?

Government involvement always means it’ll become more expensive.

Just remember that when it comes to the economy.

Something the Federal Government or any State Government can do today to help bring down prices is to stop allowing corporations to own more than 10 houses in a State.

But no, Corporations pay politicians so this would never happen.

In the Atlanta metro area alone there are over 19,000 homes which were bought by corporations and they only allow renters.

My neighborhood was hit by this and most of the time when a house goes on the market a corporation buys it and rents it out.

This is for section 8 type housing that will be a magnet to crime. And none of it will be placed in the affluent areas.

Throwing printed money at a “crisis” manufactured by Democratic economic policies. Sounds like another great idea from the worst administration ever.

Better check your local city commissions. Mine snuck a big arse tenement 2 blocks away from some of the best neighborhoods in town. It hasn't even been 5 years and there's already been multiple homicide cases within the complex

By this (link below)...it looks like it is in the form of a $10,000 tax credit to first-time home buyers ($5,000 per year for 2 years) or who sell their "starter home" (defined as a house below the area median home price). That doesn't sound like a "solution" to me.
