I'm not against this. More education is a better thing. It won't be perfect but there are a lot of people who need this. I'm tired of being around stupid people

I can. Not sure how successful anybody would consider me to be but being able to do two years at a community college before transferring to a university to get my degree was a big help for me. Community college has a lot of benefits but one of them shouldn't be making other people work to pay your way. I paid for mine, there is no reason I should have to pay for anybody else.

There are lawyers out there firebombing police cars. Unfortunately, getting a college education doesn't mean a person will stop being a dumbass.

We have had the totality of the world's knowledge at our fingertips for decades now, yet average IQs keep dropping, all because we heavily subsidize stupid people to breed more stupid people. Until that changes, education doesn't really matter. Garbage in, garbage out.

I think my point came across a bit more snooty than I really wanted to be. I appreciate your reply and apologize.

I just think you illustrate mostly how this seems to be some sort of odd solution in search of a problem. I mean I'm not even sure they can feign to trot out some sob story of someone who was forced to forego going to community college because it wasn't "free."

My whole life I've noticed that Democrats refer to TAX INCREASES as 'investments for our future.'

No offense taken. Just offering a different point of view from my experience.

Yes there is actually, but that doesn't justify making it free.

Nothing is free you disingenuous assclown. Someone is paying for it.

One thing is for sure, it's not the kids taking a tech courses down at the local community college who spend their spare time burning American flags and screaming about white supremacy.
