How about articulate a clear objective.
We know we don’t want Iran to have a nuclear weapon, but what will that success look like so that we can cease further military action?

Conformed to what? My only concern is the safety of the US servicemen. We can glass the place tomorrow and I won't lose a minute of sleep. Every time Trump gave them another 10 days or 2 weeks multiple times, I understood the strategic value in doing so.
