No. The DU memes are still terrible

How is a Trump quote a "DU meme" ?

You're making less sense than usual

SFPLC's problem is that he thinks debt reduction is the #1 issue for conservatives.

Or, more accurately, he wants it to be. He's a progressive and loves the idea of conservatives chaining themselves to policy that will ensure they'll never win anything.

Just because it's unpopular and RINO/MAGA/populist types wouldn't support it isn't his fault.

It should be the #1 policy position for everyone.

How many progressives promote huge spending reductions and reducing government?

The same amount that try and use Christianity to hamstring Conservatives when it helps them politically.

I posted the most salient one and they weren't happy and wanted to defend big spending

You're off the rails

Try responding relevantly to what's posted.

I've been promoting small government and fiscal responsibility on here for 20 years. I only began being accused of being a leftist or progressive when MAGA rolled around promoting the opposite. You just did the meme.

I'll accept #2 as part of an answer, #1 has nothing to do, necessarily, with debt reduction.

Then you don't understand populism, which is weird considering the responses last night criticizing Massie's stances on fiscal responsibility and its impact on political pragmatism....yet you claimed to understand this earlier in the thread.

Populism will always lead to economic leftist policies by default. Real spending cuts are not popular and are difficult to sell to the electorate and win elections in democracies.

This is why fiscal conservatives are so rare in Congress and why people like Massie end up "ineffectual"

Yep, I remember all your Biden rants.

Actually, no. I don't.

That's telling.

Why are you trying to double down on irrelevant relativism?

There are no progressives posting ITT. The boogeyman isn't here. They are not relevant to this discussion.
