Grok is dumb. I've watched it argue with users that clearly, known fake videos are real. When challenged it doubled and tripled down.

If he is not an immigrant to the US, how does it mean he was even sent by them?

Point taken
I just asked Grok if it was AI
I just asked Grok if it was AI
quote:
**Yes, the video in the post is almost certainly AI-generated (or at the very least, heavily manipulated/fake CGI).**
Here's why, based on a close look at the characteristics of the clip and the broader context:
- **Classic signs of AI/CGI in "black triangle" UFO videos** — These types of triangular dark objects with corner lights (often pulsing or with a slight glow/halo, slow rotation, hovering without noise or wake) have been circulating online for years as recycled hoax footage. Many recent versions (especially from 2024–2026) show telltale AI artifacts: unnaturally smooth motion, inconsistent lighting/shadows relative to the clouds, overly perfect symmetry, and a "dreamlike" or low-res grain that doesn't match real smartphone footage of distant aircraft. The 10-second clip here fits this pattern exactly — no visible propulsion, no atmospheric distortion, and the lights behave more like digital effects than real navigation strobes.
- **The account's posting history** — @EmilioVallejoRL has repeatedly posted **nearly identical claims** about the "TR-3 Black Manta" over Mexico (e.g., similar wording and videos in August/October 2025). This suggests it's a recurring satirical/troll theme rather than new evidence. The exaggerated narrative (imminent U.S. invasion to target MORENA politicians and cartels) reads like political provocation/humor, not serious reporting.
- **Public reaction and consensus** — In the replies and related discussions on X, the overwhelming take is that it's **not real**. Common comments include:
- "Ultra-secret plane my arse — if it's filmed this easily, it's not secret."
- Direct calls of "fake/AI/CGI" or "old recycled hoax video."
- People pointing out it's probably months-old footage repurposed (some even say the clip itself looks AI-upscaled or edited).
- No one with credible aviation/UFO expertise is treating it as genuine; it's mostly memes, irony, or dismissal.
- **No corroboration anywhere** — As of January 9–10, 2026, there's zero mainstream news, official statements, or multiple independent sightings/videos of a TR-3 (or any black triangle) over Mexico. The TR-3 Black Manta itself is a decades-old unconfirmed rumor/conspiracy (often tied to 1990s UFO lore, misidentified B-2s/F-117s, or pure fiction) — no declassified evidence has ever emerged. Real military aircraft don't behave like this on camera without massive follow-up.
In 2026, with tools like Sora, Veo, and others making hyper-realistic short clips trivial to generate, low-quality phone-style UFO videos are one of the most common forms of AI slop online. This one checks all the boxes for that.
If new angles/multiple witnesses emerge, I'd revisit — but right now, treat it as entertaining political satire/fake UFO content, not anything legitimate. What made you think it might be AI? The lights, the motion, or something else?

“They’re not sending their best” - remember that from Trump term 1?
This guys very, very far from their best and they’ve kept him.

I have two videos on my phone that I took Christmas night. My brother and I watched for an hour as two separate lights streaked across the sky and then came back together. They would randomly pulsate at different speeds and would move past each other at varying speeds before disappearing. Can't explain wtf it was, but minus the craft in the middle of this video, the flashing light was very similar..

I’ll take the L for now and agree it’s probably fake
But nobody knows for sure, bunch of assuming. We can revisit if something more comes of it.

If the US wanted recce views over cartel facilities in Mexico, why in the world would they need a stealth asset to do it? What radar and what surface to air assets would stop a conventional aircraft?
