Seattle, Portland, et. al. don't want federal marshals protecting federal assets, including federal employees.

So why not give just close all federal offices and give the employees days off with pay? Close the post office, courthouses, social security offices, etc. until the mayors of those cities prove they can protect federal assets. Shut down all federally operated services like air port control towers and TSA.

Sounds simple.

What's wrong with this approach?

How about just ask if they want to secede, hold a vote, and just show them the door?

Seems a lot cleaner.

How about parking a couple M1's in front of City Hall, and explain the facts of life to them

I like it and agree. You could argue it’s for the safety of federal employees. Of course there is a lot of federal property but might be cheaper to replace that than pay to protect it at this point.

And when these buildings are burned down do not offer those services in that city until the city pays to rebuild the buildings.

Federal officials elected by those same state populations.

Agree/disagree there are many senators and representatives who are accountable to their state citizens and don’t want a federal enforcement on this.

Because the federal gov't owes me for my tax dollars. It shouldn't abandon it's responsibilities and its citizens and allow communist to destroy the country.
