The blind followers who give me this much power in a religion because they have men propped up as "holy" people.

Church has great educational opportunities for our kids/grandkids, but the religion itself is corrupt. There are pictures of known sex abusers on the walls of many churches. I’m on a mission to take them down. I have one in particular in my cross hairs

Jimbeaux. It’s personal. I’ve said more than I should. Just know it’s pervasive and been going on for a very long time. The cover up is real. I don’t think it’s 50 or 75% of the priests but the cover up certainly is. Likely 90% +.

True story i used to do the HVAC service work for the Mobile Arch diocese about 20 years ago. I was working in one of the priest rooms because they live there in a Civil War era home in downtown Mobile. This dudes laptop was open and he had gay porn open actively and he is still part of the church

It’s time for a schism within the church if Francis keeps being such a dumbfrick.. He hates capitalistic western values and won’t even allow the bishops here to attempt a reconciliation process regarding a deplorable problem within the church

As a cradle Catholic, for the longest time, I really wanted to give this Pope the benefit of the doubt. I listened to him speak on other issues and just shook my head and tried to convince myself that he was a good but extraordinarily naive man.

No more. His stance on this issue has now convinced me...this Pope is evil. He’s going to bring about the destruction of the Holy Church from within.

Time to elect a new Pope and rid The Church of this communist infestation.

All it takes for evil to triumph is good men to do nothing.

Any kiddy diddling priests should be summarily executed.

People knowingly covering for them should be flayed alive.

I'm not surprised. The Pope is an evil communist.

Can you say which diocese?

Or at a minimum, was it the Archdiocese of New Orleans?

If so, are you saying that the abusive priest in question was not on the recently released list of names?

What good reason does he have to give such a directive? I know there will be a larger summit in Rome in February to address this, but certainly he can't think the Bishops will do more damage by anything they do here.

This makes me distrust the Catholic church all over again. It's clearly a corrupt organization that is run by the corrupt. Never change Catholic church, never change.

To be honest, I don't think there are enough straight Christians left in Catholic leadership positions to actually enter into schism from the Vatican. It's probably going to look more like a slow decay and death as people vote with their feet and go to other churches or abandon Christianity entirely.
