Pope Calls for New Catholic Theological Curriculum – Teaching Students to View Muslims as Brothers....
And then the Muslims will call us brothers and will have fellowship with us.

And by "call us brothers" I mean call us infidels, and by "have fellowship with us" I mean kill us.

I think you are supposed to turn the other cheek until they try to cut your head off.

John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Seems pretty cut and dreied that people worshipping that guy Mohammed can't really be our brothers. We should still treat them as brothers, though, and not hate them.

Muslims like to talk about the need for tolerance - of them. They don't care tóo much for tolerating others. Especially not when they are in sufficient numbers to do harm.

Our brothers and sisters are ultimately those who are in Christ. Muslims reject the Christ of the Bible, and their Jesus cannot save anyone from their sins.
Really can't say it any other way.

I'm all for letting Mohammedans go their own way, and certainly harbor no ill will towards them. But the simple truth is, their religion is by definition a repudiation of the divinity of Jesus, and therefore an outright rejection of Christ and all those who believe he is the Son of God. By labeling him a prophet who is subservient to Mohammed, they are essentially calling him a liar and/or a fool, and his followers dupes.

There is no theological justification for the supposed leader of Christ's church on earth to deny this obvious fact. Period.

And this remains true whether you are Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist, atheist, or otherwise unaffiliated.

Look at the silver lining...

Roman Catholics of this generation have an opportunity that is almost unique in the past millenium...that is to have objective, not just doctrinal, evidence of who was right in the day of the great schism of 1054 and rejoin the church Jesus founded.

This dude is a calamity for the Catholic church. That's what you get when you have a leader who thinks he speaks for God.

Why Catholics continue to support the church I will never understand. Papal infallibility my rear. Y’all need to kick this guy to the curb.

For the first time in my life I feel confident in saying there’s a pope going to hell faster than me.

That’s from the catechism of the Catholic Church... the pope isn’t really deviating from already codified Catholic beliefs

I don’t agree with it personally, but I’m not Catholic

Isn't the whole point is to view everyone as brother and sister?

Seems like this is fairly obvious
