This is why none of you goofballs can be taken seriously. On one hand you complain about a lack of economic opportunities, on the other you complain about Trump trying to correct it. There is no correcting the massive trade imbalances that we have with other nations and rebuilding our economy without tariffs. Tariffs aren’t going to work overnight and will cause some hardships but this board hides behind the guise of “free market capitalism” as if that is an actual thing. It would be great if other nations didn’t impose trade restrictions on the US but they do and it would be great if they would magically remove them without being coerced. They won’t. So, the only other alternative is to go back to the US government propping up the economy through massive government spending and hiring thousands of new workers. You would think the “America First” faux conservatives could grasp that basic concept but you don’t. So you bitch and moan about everything Trump does

If tweet fails to load, click here. This is a great illustration of the mental fragility and lack of focus of many Americans.
I can hear the thoughts rolling through their confused minds,
"Trump isn't doing everything he promised and everything I want, I think I'll consider MamDummi as the path forward for the US."

Immigration was a huge issue that propelled him to the White House and I say make immigration an issue going into the midterms. Fight over H1B visas.
He has fixed immigration. And one of the problems with fixing an issue is that you lose that issue as a campaign winner. S be it.
You want him to fix H1Bs, but the problem is his definition and your definition of fixing it are different. He would expand it; you would contract it.

Too many free loaders in this country. Fat, lazy free loaders.
Washington is full of them.

Completely understand.
It will be much better if the Democratic Socialists get control of Congress to continue with their Fundamental Transformation of America.

Trump is done. He has abandoned America first for Israel first and continues to allow H1Bs to take American jobs. Prices are still too high everywhere.
The younger men who voted for him aren’t happy with the results. I think the Kirk murder spooked Trump it was a deep state warning to him, he has done an about face on many things since then.

Yes he is setting up for MAGA - he is negotiating peace deals and economic deals around the world to help the future of America.
Gen Z doesn’t care about Israeli peace deals.
Most of his base doesn’t care about Israeli peace deals.
Is it good? Sure.
Is it important to anyone but the billionaire donors and AIPAC? Not really.
You’ve been told this is true over and over again, yet because you just blindly defend anything he does you get defensive and block it out.
Not a single swing voter is voting for congress based on Trumps performance getting Israel out of whatever the latest war Netanyahu got us involved in.
The swing voters are going to vote based on whether his tariffs and trade deals are improving their job prospects and building wealth.
That’s it. Everything else is superfluous from a reelection standpoint.

I mean at this point can you blame voters for wanting to try something new instead of continuing to elect neocons whose only care in the world is starting another foreign conflict overseas to enrich themselves on while shipping blue collar jobs overseas and replacing white collar Americans with foreigners at home

OK. I'll bite.....
What exactly is Trump supposed to do to push back against a bunch of 30-and-under people in NYC and other places who have decided they want to be lied to about free bus rides and free food/housing, etc?
When their day-to-day lives quickly turn to total shite under Mamdani, I guess I'll get back on here and say: Gee, what a surprise. Who could have possibly seen this coming?

You are flat out wrong and this is the main problem with the US, ignorant voters. You want automatic results with no pain and that is just not only naive but dumb. Change takes time and decades of poor government leadership economically is going to be difficult to undo. I can assure you if a Democrat is elected in 28’ you will absolutely get immediate results. Millions of more people will be flooding the nation exponentially driving up costs and debt through increased welfare programs. But don’t worry that extra couple of dollars for certain goods was just too much to ask for decades of incompetence

You don’t even make sense anymore, explain in detail how Trump is doing any of those things. I know your feelings have been hurt Tina

Trump knows how to play the game, if he has to pretend to befriend evil to keep the from killing people keep on.
I'm sure all these leaders know if they cross a certain line Trump with FERK then up.
What I Voted For - Other countries need to fear us.

I'm sorry but what have the Republicans in congress and the senate done to deserve anyone's vote? They voted for Trump's BBB and have since stymied everything he was in favor of pushing through. The Democrats are going to destroy the Republicans and the idiots in the Senate & House are too stupid to see it or perhaps it's what they want to happen.

There are decent candidates who run, we just dont vote for them.
We prefer the loudest, most obnoxious over the guy who has ideas.

About what?
You ranted and provided zero evidence for what you think is being done that should be highlighted or how Gen Z and independents care about Israeli issues which was the substance of my post.
I agree with the tariffs.
I agree with the trade deals.
Neither of those have had any meaningful impact to date and won’t for years on employment or wealth building for people without huge 401ks which is who the swing and GenZ voters are.
He could’ve gutted H1B which would’ve made an immediate impact but didn’t because he listened to the tech bros instead of his base which is exactly what we told you when it was announced.
He could’ve done a bunch of other stuff as well but he went to rescue his boy Netanyahu twice while we were screaming that it was counterproductive and no one wanted to hear it.
If you want time for tariffs to get us there I understand and agree.
But 50 year mortgages and 12 year car loans on $50k Camrys aren’t solutions that are going to move the needle.

Absolutely nothing because they’re running out the clock on MAGA.
Hell they shutdown DOGE which was a core element of the campaign and now it’s basically just a vestigial appendage that no one wants to touch because the GOP realized it would impact their donors too.
The GOPe Congress is completely worthless.
The only thing it’s an improvement on is the DNC congress which actively seeks to destroy the middle class and nation.
