Bannon’s favorable rating among GOPers in Morning Consult’s poll is 19/46. Bob Mueller’s is 21/41. Republicans like Mueller more than they do Bannon now.

Anthony Scaramucci’s rating, btw, is 54/32

Has anyone ever risen so high and fallen so fast as Bannon?

Bannon failed to realize that he only had popularity and a voice within the party because Trump gave him that. Now that Trump has assertively cast him aside, Steve Bannon has no stock in politics anymore. Which is a very good thing for the GOP.

I have a higher opinion of Miller Light than O'Doul's, but they both still suck.

It's the classic tale of Icarus.

It’s incredible how this board for 2 straight years was preaching to take down the establishment and drain the swamp. Now Trump has a few victories under his belt and you think short term. Once trump is gone the GOP will be what it’s always been an establishment uni party that can give zero fricks to conservative values.

Bannon and O'Reilly are talking a deal.

With Beck.

This is not shocking if it’s GOP voters . A lot of hard core republicans hate Bannon because he is going after the establishment. I don’t think he is going away from politics. He will still be pushing some candidates in 2018.

Could be. Bannon blew it...Meuller still has a chance to expose the REAL Russian collusion.

One thing for sure, Bannon will never be prosecuted for stabbing Trump in the back; Meuller - if He Obstructs Justice by IGNORING the Hillary/Obama/Dem Party collusion with Russia and the "wiretapping" of their political Opposition - can be. Not only would such an attempt to bury corruption be criminal in a of itself...it would also destroy faith in the honesty of our highest Investigatory/Justice Institutions.
