I don't know about "uniquely", but it's funny you would have a problem with kids being taught the truth that America has been horribly racist and oppressive. Tens of millions of slaves. Tens of millions persecuted under Jim Crow...but not as important as the Irish Potato Famine, right? (a pet peeve of mine, since it was created by the British govt.)
The potato famine is more important to America because it affected more Americans. Like everybody is descended from the Irish
Plus what's worse? The government won't let you eat because they stole all the food or the government won't let you eat in this particular section of the restaurant?

And yet Jews and Jewish organizations continue to support the left in majority numbers. Despite the lack of tolerance, despite the fact that the Holocaust is being denied, despite the fact that real history is no longer being taught. I don't blame the millenials, I blame the school systems and the regressive agenda. And, fwiw, parents really should take a bigger role in their children's education.

Victor Frankl's Man's Search for Meaning should be a must read at some point in one's life. College age; maybe"

Neither I nor anyone in my family has ever persecuted anybody so you can take your white guilt horse shite and shove it right up your arse.
Black people are committing half the murders while only being 13% of the population THIS YEAR, not decades ago.

I got to skip two hours of work today and hear Halina Silber, No. 16 on Oskar Schindler's list, give her testimony as a Holocaust survivor. What a lady!

Where was this, if you don't mind my asking? Sounds like an amazing opportunity. My father lost many family members in the Holocaust. And remembered seeing, as a kid, bodies hanging on meat hooks in warehouses.

These numbers are enormously skewed or just plain wrong.

2/3 of millennials are stupid"
After reading the bullshite the liberal millennial college kids, especially from Arkansas and a few from Alabama and Mississippi, I am absolutely positive that the 2/3 number is way too low. It’s more like 15/16

The ESEA is supposed to be updated every few years but hasn't been rewritten since 2001, when another Texan, President George W. Bush, famously renamed it No Child Left Behind. Bush took Johnson's original vision, to help states level the playing field for students living and learning in poverty, and added teeth.
"We're gonna spend more money, more resources," Bush said at the time, "but they'll be directed at methods that work. Not feel-good methods. Not sound-good methods. But methods that actually work."
Article continues after sponsorship
Those methods included a sweeping new federal system of testing and accountability — as strict as it was controversial. The message to states was clear: We don't trust you to do the right thing by your most disadvantaged students. Schools that fail to educate all kids should be fixed or closed.
With its emphasis — obsession, critics would say — on standardized testing, the law became unpopular among many teachers and parents and technically expired in 2007. But it's on the books until it's replaced.
Do you want to catch an intellectual beat down? Then let's follow this rabbit down its hole

No shite. If they knew about the holocaust..and Auschwitz.. they wouldn't minimize the victims, by labeling everyone they disagree with as "hitler".
There's probably a 40 yr old, fat bitch with purple hair, sitting on her bed, right now, somewhere in our country..thinking that she's the most oppressed person in human history, because her mom just grounded her.

You have a problem with diverting any discussion away from Race Grievance, specifically black victimology. Kids today learn all about slavery and Jim Crow, ad nauseam. Maybe we could fit the rest of the human experience in there somewhere too? Ask a black teen who "the boat people" were or what happened in Armenia or Rwanda for instance, and watch the blank stares.
You ask a black teen who his daddy is and you will get the same look.

Ask them who their 2 senators and representative are
Posted on 4/13/18 at 5:54 am to L.A.
I bet the same millenials who have no clue about Auschwitz can write a book on slavery and the south.

Which was a re-authorization of LBJ's act which was part of the war on poverty. Perhaps your lack of education prevented you from knowing that and blaming Bush
This somehow makes it better?
This somehow absolves Bush from blame?
You don't think that, maybe, the reauthorization of a failing Great Society program/policy (public ed has been going in the shitter since LBJ) might merit some derision?
