Poll: Majority of Republicans think Trump is a better president than Lincoln

The Economist and YouGov conducted a poll from Nov. 24-26 of 1,500 American adults. In the wide-ranging poll, researchers asked Americans to compare Trump to past U.S. presidents.
Fifty-three percent of Republicans said that Trump is a better president than Lincoln. For Democrats and Independents, Lincoln is considered to have been the better president with 94% and 78%, respectively.

I agree with this poll.
Anyone who's willing to let well over half a million human beings die just to keep a ragtag band of states in the country he presides over is not someone I will respect.
Embarrassing a genocidal man like Abe Lincoln was the first Republican President.

Interesting fact I just saw, Thomas Jefferson and John Adams were two of many Presidents who didn't serve in the military. And both of those gentlemen were of the age to serve as officers, in all likelihood. In the American Revolutionary War.

Trump is way better than Lincoln. Lincoln dragged his country into a civil war because he was anti-self determination, just like the British were in the Revolutionary War and like SWB is now with St. George.
The South should have been allowed to secede peacefully as any state should. If the majority of the people in that state vote to break away, let them.

Splitting already thin hairs on that claim. Clinton's situation isn't even by the slightest of margins any "better" than Trump's.
