Military spending ain’t why we’re in debt. It helped, no doubt and if we’d fisking quit giving it out Willy nilly (see Ukraine as an example ) when we’d be better off not doing we could definitely spend less on it.
It’s the fisking entitlements that are breaking us, which is from trying to be “good Christians” when again is not government’s job.

I think that Trump knows that a big ground war would be a no-no. I’m also of the opinion that Trump can push out Maduro, install Machado, and achieve a stable democratic Venezuela without a long ground war.
