My mom actually worked on Jimmie Davis's campaign back in 1959, so it can't be him.
Edwin Edwards threw a big Cajun-themed party on the LSU campus after his first electoral win in 1971, so it can't be him.
I think Jindal was the worst.

In my lifetime, the worst was JBE.

Disagree.
Long was corrupt as frick, but he made sure the state (and its citizens) benefitted while he took his cut. Now, if you want to slam him for generating the mindset in the citizenry that everything should be free (i.e., paid for by someone else), then I absolutely agree with that.

Jindal is right up there. A strong republican hopeful with a future who failed miserably. What a letdown.

Jindal was the worst in my lifetime. I voted for him 3 times. Total disappointment.

"Earl Long / insane". My sister was a student nurse at the Texas hospital where Earl was being treated for mental issues. She he was "nutty as a fruitcake"; giving the nurses on his floor hell every day / nite.
