NEW: Former Trump official confirms that WH started placing Trump call transcripts into NSC’s codeword system—effectively concealing them—sometime after Mexico, Australia transcript leaks in 2017.

The deep state leaking these calls in the past has ironically given the trump WH a huge explanation: we started doing this to protect them from being leaked by IC hacks.

If every call, not just Ukraine, was put through this, that seems far less nefarious imo

Leakage of calls with foreign leaders is a huge issue

There isn’t anything illegal with WH trying to enact measures to stop it.

And not sure how it is evidence of a cover-up if it done with every call to every leader.

The article is an Obama lackey accusing Trump of hiding things for political purposes. What a shocker. What does it have to do with the tweet. The tweet justifies if Trump did secure them after the first leaks.

It's the US President's conversation with another world leader.

How about we take a peep at Obama's calls. You down?

My understanding is that by marking it classified, it greatly reduces chances of it being leaked

You wouldn't want a POTUS to shake down and coerce another nation's leader without it being classified, would you?

Because the texts of his phone calls were being leaked to the media. Classifying them allows him to have frank and open conversation that doesn't get leaked.

It’s not. You can livestream any Presidential phone call anytime.

It apparently worked, until this one, you hadn't heard shite about those calls.

This "whistleblower" is actually bitching that the WH was securing these communications, making them much harder to leak.

Where are you getting these moronic talking points? Just link the forum or blog and we’ll go read someone slightly more intelligent making the same points you’re pretending to make.
