Until now, news stories about the investigation appear to rely on whatever the press can learn from targets and their lawyers.
I challenge you to find one story that must have been leaked by someone inside of Mueller's team.
That one old story about Peter Strzok, the former Mueller investigator who got moved out to HR, likely came from someone outside the team who spotted that unusual name and new title in a document or directory that they saw.

That's thin. But I frankly don't care enough about this story to go dig through old WaPo articles. Can't think of anything more miserable, honestly.

Part of the frustration/fun of these stories is trying to figure out the attributions. There was a good Ben Wittes piece last week on a method for trying to decode journo-ese for them.

trump will NEVER go over 50% approval because republicans/independents will actually be honest if they like something a democratic president has done meaning they could go over the 50% who voted for them.
Hillary voters, however..reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee will never ever ever ever EVER get over this loss and will never vote anything in a positive way regardless of what trump does.
