Definitely the most important poll when it comes to the president himself.
What could become an issue though is if a president becomes very unpopular (not saying this is happening) then congressman may not play ball with the president because the congressman naturally wants to get re-elected.

You’re right, but people in congress will however track how many protests they see and how many calls their offices receive to get a broader sense of the populations overall sentiment.
Obviously this only matters if this stuff is going on in a whatever region the congressman represents.

Reliable polling is against him on Ukraine. The public knows Russia started the war by invading Ukraine. And Putin is not trusted. All by significant margins, both Republicans and Democrats.

Trump hasn't solved the Biden inflationary boondoggle he left us all on the way out the door. The last 2 months where they were throwing gold bars off the Titanic, and Trump sucks because he hasn't fixed grocery prices in 30 days? These people are a sick joke.
