Cubbies exhibits the subtle racism of low expectations
she probably thinks black people can't find a driver's license

i could ask you the same, my guy... let's not forget it was YOU who decided to chime in with the political bullshite on my post... not the other way around...

honestly, i'm speaking IN GENERAL... having a program, that helps members of society better themselves and aims to give them an opportunity to change course, cease to exist in an area it once existed, sucks...

What pays for the program?

She was probably making him read some two gay dads shite so poor dude was forced to commit a crime to escape. I’ll post his bail and save him from this racist hog

why are you asking me? i'm not the one involved in the program... i'd assume it's funded by tax dollars

Explains a lot

oday I found out one of my most consistent and promising students was arrested over the weekend. It’s just devastating. It’s very easy and comfortable for people who aren’t around “a certain demographic” to cast judgment from places of privilege but y’all just don’t know what some people are up against. And as much as this board loves to deny that systemic issues exist, the obstacles are systemic and they are not addressed by message board lectures about personal responsibility.
Are you really surprised at this point?

Imagine someone coming in here with far left liberal agenda and calling everyone else insane.
Posted on 3/18/26 at 11:14 pm to 4cubbies
Why are you trying to blame us for your student not being able to change to fix their life?

This is such bullshite by the way. My family lineage is immigrants doing manual labor. You either have class, dignity, respect, integrity, and work ethic, or you don't.
Privilege is a construct created by children of rich people who feel guilty because they didn't earn anything their parents gave them.

Mine was 'violence in Iran' in the first sentence. What a freaking nutjob and very likely a pathetic fake troll.

All according to what they are teaching don’t you think? A lot of rainbow flags in the classroom nowadays.

It’s sort of brilliant, actually. They can use it to keep the poors in line and directing their angst away from them and instead towards other rich people they disagree with politically.

Well that story is perfectly consistent with your caring heart, Cubbies. Not that I agree with many of your assertions, but I do know you “ have skin in the game” and a heart that loves underdogs.

Please refresh my memory of the felony convictions he was guilty of.
You do understand the difference between a criminal case and a civil case I’m guessing? And who brought up the cases? Democrats. And the judges that presided over these cases? Democrats. And where did these cases take place? Where the juries were… democrat based. Good thing you’re not a lawyer, you would probably have to apply for food stamps.

You have misunderstood me. I haven't laughed at anyone but you.

That was an example of a systemic issue.
Any observed fact that someone happens to personally find inconvenient or challenging is not a "systemic issue."
I wish the government had a program that included sending taxpayer funded workers to mow my lawn. The fact that they don't is not a "systemic issue."
quote:
Clogged and backlogged courts is another example of a systemic issue.
One of the biggest reasons for that is that trials take a lot longer now than they used to because defense attorneys file more bullshite motions and continuances and the trials involve more forensic evidence and are more tech-dependent.
Other than setting a time limit on a trial, you tell me, how do you propose solving that, and how would you fund those changes?
quote:
So is underfunded public defense.
Not that you'll answer this, but when research shows that pubic defenders get similar results (and some cases have even shown slightly better results) than more expensive private attorneys, what is the justification for calling that a "systemic issue?"
The words "systemic issue" mean that the system has failed to meet its obligations to citizens. But citizens aren't entitled to anything you have applied those terms to.

I don't have any problem with someone trying to help felons get GEDs, but you realize you're complaining about someone posting about politics on a political message board, right?

I develop relationships with many offenders who aren’t working towards academic goals just from proximity. One young lady who had her baby taken away from her was so excited because she was going to get see him recently. When she finally got to see him (he’s 2 now), he didn’t recognize her but she was just so happy to see him. His dad is a POS and has tried to run over her with his car before. She has a stay away order but we haven’t seen her since last week and I’m scared he hurt her. And my heart breaks for the baby. It’s hard when you see these are real people and not just characters or statistics. The world is not fair. It is often very cruel.
But I’m supposed to be upset that people in Massachusetts don’t need a state ID to vote instead.
And with one post you finally convinced me that you are not SFP.
No man could compose a post like that. That complete non-sequitur twist out of the clear blue nowhere that is apropos of absolutely nothing could only come from XX chromosomes.
