How is Trump a snake oil salesman? That term indicates someone who is all talk with nothing behind him. Trump has literally done everything he said he would when he was running. Nobody was duped by him. You can disagree with all of his platform policies, but he is doing exactly what he said he would do.

Waters was raised by hardcore socialists and has generally had problems with the right for decades.
Principally, he fricking lost it when the Falklands War happened because he saw it as a great betrayal of what the British fought for in WWII, where his dad died at Anzio.

Not the only reason Waters was an arse.
He basically decided that the band was done after the failure of The Final Cut, his screed against them Falklands War, and sued to break up the band.
That David Gilmour and the other band members continued on and produced several platinum albums under the Floyd name after that while Waters’ solo efforts floundered shows how correct he was.
