Goodness, if that is what happened, I would seriously hate to be the person responsible for storing it there. That is A LOT of sodium nitrate in one spot. Not that it would be that person's fault that this happened, but I would have to feel somewhat responsible in a way.
That would suck bad...
This was a terrifying event that happened today. Do we know casualties yet? Seems like hundreds, possibly thousands injured.

Damn, will be interesting to see what comes out. My guess is someone was making something they should not have been and Israel cleaned it up.
