Take this with a massive grain of salt - lots of BS on Twitter. I am only bringing this here to see if anyone follows this guy and can say if he is usually accurate.

Big if.. but if true this would be a massive deal worth more than Twitter IMO.

That's a satire account. I fell for it too earlier.

That quote sounds made up. Thiel doesn't talk like that.

Fake but accurate.

Peter Thiel might not be able to take Disney private like Musk did with Twitter but I bet he could assemble a group to facilitate a sale.

Not as if Disney’s leadership is maximizing their profits.

Obviously fake, but would be funny as hell if Thiel did step in to buy Disney. Would be ironic that a gay conservative came in to stop gay liberals from indoctrinating our kids.

Not a fricking chance this is real. Disney's reach is far and wide and it's an expensive company

For comparison, Elon Musk bought Twitter for $44 Billion.

Twitter's current market cap is $37 billion.
Disney's is $206 Billion.

It would likely take $400 billion to buy disney. You aren't getting enough billionaires together with a similar ideology that would be able to buy it.

Disney should be broken up, honestly. It's a monopoly and only continues to grow and capture the market.

Yeah, an outright buy can't happen. But, majority shareholder is possible.

Disney's market cap is 207 billion.. Not a chance in hell. Now what I would like to see happen and what possibly could happen is that they try and take an activist investor role similar to a Carl Icahn and get some board seats and enact some change that way. But 0% chance Disney could go private.

That would depend on the return on the investment.
What is the net profit of the Disney Empire?
