as long as you can admit the line you draw between weapons that can and can't be owned is just as arbitrary as people who want to ban rifles
You're mistaken...I don't draw any line. If the military can have one, you should be able to as well. The Second Amendment is specifically to allow for defense from your own tyrannical government.

Brilliant insight.
You should be an attorney. You'd win all your cases with this impeccable logic.

Bump stocks should be illegal. Good things is that they soon will be.

Except you will soon probably be able to print one

Doesn't matter. Illegal to sell or own. It's will happen.

are we talking about the first or second amendment?
Why not both?

You're correct. It doesn't matter because making them illegal will solve absolutely nothing.

What's next banning thumbs and belt loops?

quote:because they're different amendments, and i'm not saying that because lots of arms were created after the constitution was written, we should only allow those that existed when the document was written. i'm saying, quite literally, that a bump stock is in no way shape or form an arm
Why not both?

By that logic we could make ammunition illegal Hillary
Nope, common sense should intervene here. I'm sure the Founders intended us to have the right to keep and bear arms.....but not have ammunition. However, I don't believe the 2A insures my right to purchase scopes, silencers, 100 round clips, bump stocks and so on.
Just my two cents.

So what.

I know what you're saying. I'm letting you know why you're wrong.
Keyboards and ink pens are not speech or press.
Do you see the point I'm making, or do I need to spell it out for you?

That's a rather well-crafted strawman there baw.
You continue to impress.

how does not having a bump stock prevent you from bearing arms?

No I'm not saying don't ban bump stocks because you can achieve the same thing with a rubberband
I'm saying ban rubberbands bc they can achieve the same thing as a bump stock

I don't think you do. Explain it.
