I recommend reading some of what Jefferson and Adams wrote on the idea of the Second Amendment. Also, give John Locke a read. Ask if you don't know why.
what is John Locke's opinion on automatic weapons?

Do you want to discuss the history of the Second Amendment?

If you want to roll with a fundamentalist view of the Second Amendment, let's do it. You won't like the outcome.

if i ask a question in response does that mean you don't have to answer my question any more and instead i have to answer yours?

Neither. I don't care.

Either being true is acceptable for my point.

Buy a nice 3D printer and just start cranking them out on your own

They are hardly fancy items

they aren't but most of the 3d printers that consumers would use materials that would be unlikely to withstand the pressure applied to it during rapid fire.

Most of those 3d printed guns are fire only one shot, and supposedly break down easily.

Source: Looked into 3d printing shop for industrial parts, mainly oifield, and the 3d printers couldn't produce parts that handle any sort of long term or repeated stress.

The technology will improve, and consequently become much more affordable.

sure, but right now it is not at that point. It really hasn't advanced that much in the last few years, at least in terms of things like tensile strength. The price has gone down for the consumer versions. Industrial versions that offer more robust parts are still very expensive.

I keep on investigating this, I think I could make bank from it.

I feel reasonably certain that it's soon going to be illegal to buy bump stock. Many on the Right are agreeing with this.
noone will care that only one gun had a bump stock, while several were illegally modified to for full auto.

Combined with other methods, it's good enough to make one in your garage if you have the money.

that's probably what will end up happening if the right continues to say "muh constitution" every time the left talk about gun legislation.

No, we just drag your dumbasses to court, beat you senseless, than laugh as you cry about paying the legal expenses.
