Wouldn’t be surprising and leaves Dem very few avenues of attack on her personally
Just wait. I am sure they'll find some witness that she allegedly called a queer on Bourbon Street one night or something like that.

If she is Trump's nominee, I would expect that the main attack for the Dems will be the election year argument. That, and they'll focus a lot on her position regarding Roe v. Wade.
They are limited when it comes to personal attacks, but if they try to attack her personally then they'll probably try to find something related to her time as a law professor at Notre Dame.

They will try to associate her with the Catholic Church priest pedo scandal through some 6 degrees to Kevin Bacon connection.

Also Murk and Collins will basically be forced to vote yes if they do that.

She touched me at a party 30 years ago
I did not want her to do that
And no one recalls
She does not really know me
I felt ashamed
I’ll be glad to go to DC to testify
Please set up my go fund me account

This will be the angle. From her wiki:
quote:
Barrett is a practicing Roman Catholic.[32]
While a full-time faculty member at Notre Dame, Barrett was affiliated with Faculty for Life, a pro-life group at the University of Notre Dame. In 2015, Barrett signed a joint letter to Catholic bishops which affirmed the Church's teachings including "the value of human life from conception to natural death," and that family and marriage are "founded on the indissoluble commitment of a man and a woman."[67][68]
In September 2017, The New York Times reported that Barrett was a member of a small, tightly knit Charismatic Christian group called People of Praise;[69] members of the group swear a life-long oath to one another and are assigned a personal advisor (a "head" or "handmaiden") who gives direction on important personal decisions. Barrett did not disclose religious affiliations in her confirmation process for the federal bench.[69]
