There are a couple nurses I’ve worked with for the last 3 years who still wear them ALL the time. I rarely see them without a mask.

They are still clinging to that brief time in history when America worshipped them like gods.

Not all wear masks for Covid, especially during this time of the year, it's because of pollen. As much as I hate doing it, I'll probably have to start wearing a mask when I cut the grass. I've been having a lot of trouble with the pollen myself.

Man I tried to use one while cutting grass to keep grass clippings and smoke from getting in my mouth and thought I was going to die from lack of air.

Are about as dumb as those who insisted we wear them during Civid-19

Now if you are with someone who recently had a organ transplant, I make an exception.

These days mask wearing is almost entirely a political statement. It's like the weirdo version of gang colors

People undergoing chemo are advised in some cases to wear those paper masks in public. I'm not sure why, but just that it was being done long before covid.

Homage to the best years of their life when we flirted with totalitarian government.

There is a young kid, probably 20-23, who works at the local Publix by my house. He has worn one every time I’ve seen him in there. In afraid his parents brainwashed him during Covid while he was impressionable. I don’t want to be a dick to him but I’d love to just ask him. He looks healthy, just seems to be brainwashed….I literally feel bad for people like him.

The other going kids who do it in public do it to cover their face during protests, etc. too scared to expose themselves.

Covid went through our house a couple months ago. Me and wife got it. Son didn't. Was not fun. My first time having it. Sick as hell and lost smell and taste for a week.

It amazes me that every single home in America doesn't have ivermectin in some form ready to use. Why would a sane human go thru it just astounds me.

Most of the mask wearers I see now are blacks, usually older ones, and 40+ women, usually white.

If you aren’t a cancer patient, elderly or part of a surgical team there is no reason to wear a mask.

A brief story on this…

My brother was getting chemotherapy at the onset of all the Covid mask mania. His oncologist, even before Covid, instructed him to wear a mask when out and about running errands - put it on at home, run your errands, and only remove it when back at home.

Cancer and chemotherapy threw a lot of shite at him and it was hard, but what sticks with him was some dude who one day saw him parking his car while masked and decided to berate him and let him know what a stupid dumbass he thought he was for wearing a mask especially in his car, etc.

Please be kind to people. Don’t assume you know their journey in life or why they could be masking. It may not be for the reason you think and your looks or words could very well be kicking someone who’s already down and in a bad place.

Nobody ever had covid because there is no covid. I've been laughing at the whole thing since early 2020. I was right then and remain so now. And long covid is another riot. Wtf is that supposed to be, the virus still hanging out? No immune response? It's bs, all of it. The only things that killed people were hospitals and injections.

How about people wearing a mask in public because they have the flu?

Only a filter rated a Merve 16 ( Hepa) will filter out a virus. There is no such mask with that rating. You are basically breathing in the old bacteria that you breathe out and the mask retains.

I instantly assume (unless they are geriatric) that mask wearers are criminals up to no good just trying to hide their face.

I still see one or two barristas still wearing and about one or two check out girls at Krogers. I still think it's all about homeostasis. Some people have near zero risk tolerance. Very easily frightened.

There’s a fat chick in my building who still masks up and will get out of the elevator if anyone gets in with her. It’s funny.

It might be healthier for her to take the stairs a few times.
