It sounds like Austin wants to control even after service members get out or retire. IOW's control via their retirement pay--or simple brainwashing in re education-- That they do not form any sort of a rightful militia, organize with small town firefighters; because they protect against enemies both foreign & domestic.
What kind of a govt does Biden/Austin have that they fear this?
We aren't the bad guys they are, but their trick is to deflect this point back on good guys.
