Yeah people overestimate the # of votes recounts moves.
Assuming no foul play, the number of errors should be pretty equally distributed, so the net result, even in large states, is usually only a few hundred votes at most.
the only way a few thousand votes would get moved is if there was intentional fraud. But these are Democrats we're talking about here.

I wonder how many of those votes would have gone to Bevin had the libertarian not been on the ballot. I'd bet nearly all of those were people who didn't want to vote for Bevin and instead protested with the libertarian vote rather than simply skip that race. How many were left leaning libertarian voters who would never have voted Bevin?
