The boisterous protests against Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen and Trump advisor Stephen Miller as they dined in different Mexican restaurants, and the ejection of White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders by the owner of a Virginia eatery, caused some Democrats to embrace the strategy as an effective way to rally supporters and hold officials responsible.

But on Monday, several Democrats warned that such actions could backfire by eliciting sympathy for Trump officials, rallying Republicans to the polls in midterms or leading to similar protests against liberals by Trump supporters.

When Pelosi is the voice of reason in your party, you are fricked.

Won’t matter, they can’t help themselves. And I love how she warns not to harass people, not because it’s a shitty thing to do when people are out with their families, but only because it may lose her votes.

Not exactly. Notice the REASON for voicing some what of an opposition to harassment and violence. Because it won't work not because it is wrong.

This is why I hate politicians.

It's wrong to attack and harass people simply because it's wrong and not because of potential political fallout.

So I think we can safely reword this statement to: Do not stop harassing because it is wrong and indecent for any human being to be so ridiculous, but stop because it might not work out the way we want right now before midterms. You can continue harassing after midterms.

Pelosi has to oppose this. She represents the craziest of the crazies, and they'll predictably do the craziest shite in support of "harassment", like setting people on fire, if they follow the party's marching orders.

So, it’s wrong because it might hurt our standing, not because it’s just wrong?
