"He smelled like a young Beau. I just could not help myself," said Pedo.

Kids and dogs can tell a fake by looking at the eyes and picking up the vibes. Animals immediately gravitate to my wife. Don't understand why I don't get the same treatment.

Joe is a fake. Period. He's worse than that murderous dude who is on trial now, as Joe's action negatively affects the whole Nation and World. Borderline sociopaths, both.

Dems don't care.
They will sacrifice children in a myriad of ways.
They created the M.A.P. moniker just for Joe.
Minor. Attracted. President.

No big deal. The video is just interaction between a little kid and a dementia patient.

I'm not a fan of Joe Biden, but I don't see anything abby normal in this interaction.

What does this say about the people who voted for him?

This crap was all over the internet BEFORE the election and people still voted for him.

We have a lot of pedo/pedo lovers in this country.

Hummm? I didn't see that. But then I never said I had normal vision.

I'll admit. I'm afflicted with the 'I want to believe this fake President is not a pedo - incest practicing sleazebag' syndrone. Yep, Joe Biden is a sleazebag.

My tendency is to look for redeeming qualities in people. A carryover from the post WWII culture I was raised in.

I have learned that you give your family and friends this kind of benefit of doubt. You do not give politicians this kind of benefit of doubt.

Humans are generally more wretched than virtuous. When a normal person exercises their wretchedness it's usually inconsequential. Examples would be inconsiderate driving, cutting in line, giving server shitty tips, kids not cleaning their rooms, etc. The consequence of their wretchedness are minimal and these types of wretchedness can be called out and with acts of virtue to teach a better path that bears fruit. But when you are dealing with people in powerful positions their wretchedness can have a profound impact on people and society in general. Next thing you know these wretched politicians are sending billions of dollars of your tax money to kill people in far away lands that you don't even care about because their corporate friends have weapons to sell.

My point is your tendency to look for redeeming qualities in people has to be a little more nuanced. Family and friends can be put on a long leash. Politicians and powerful people need to be put on a MUCH shorter leash.

Well, Stacey Abrams won't be seen with him, so it's understandable.

.....and I'm a Christian. A follower of an itinerate Jewish Preacher who lived 2000 years ago in a land we now refer to as 'holy'.

Whether you choose to believe or not, the Founder of my Faith died for people like Joe Biden. While my tendency is to judge (I'm working on that), my Christian upbringing reminds me to look for evidence that my prayers are having an effect on a person. A person who happens to be my enemy.

I've lived long enough to see evidence that prayer does work. I once witnessed a dramatic death bed conversion of a hardened sinner as she was gasping for breath. It happened while we gathered around her bed praying for her. Did I mention she once loathed me?

The lives of ordinary people chronicled in the Calendar of Saints of my Church is full of examples of people who changed, repented, and lived exemplary lives of service to others. One of those people was a woman caught in the act of adultery. Another - A Jewish Official on his way to pick up some Christian prisoners in modern day Damascus, Syria.

Even though at times (okay lots of times) I find Joe Biden repugnent I'm inclinded to pray for him. Hell is such a horrible place, I don't wish that on anybody, not even Joe Biden.

Fair enough?

I remember when this guy had the Braves at the white house and he asked all the kids to come sit on his lap and they all ran to the other side of the room.

Fair enough.

That being said, he has not mentioned repentance, nevertheless forgiveness. He knows what he is doing and simply does care to apologize.

While I admire your take, and will pray as well, I simply don’t see Joe doing anything without compulsion.
