They can't. Trump should ignore him.

I imagine this, too, will be overturned.

U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell, a Barack Obama appointee, granted a temporary restraining order requested by the firm to prevent enforcement of the order’s requirements that effectively bars government contracts with the firm and bars employees entering government buildings.

Howell’s order does not address Trump’s decision to revoke the lawyers’ security clearances, nor an instruction to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission to investigate major firms for reserving certain intern positions for applicants of “preferred races.”

Lash and 150 of his closest buddies should get a warrant from another judge and take apart the copy machines, telephones desks and computers at that firm, and there should be 150 angry protesters at the judges house every night all night!

The Lawfare against Trump is going to be like nothing anybody has ever seen before.

Yeah but this time he has 115K people at the Justice Dept (okay pre DOGE) to kinda level the playing field. Im sure they can tie up quite a few perkinscoie lawyers and keep them from taking on money making cases.

As a sidenote, they argued 25% of their income was govt contracts. Hmmmmm. Why does a govt with 115K people in the justice dept need to pay outside council?

In an instance like this? This is pure Lawfare.
Show us where the Constitution supports this judge.

If that is the case, then we are no longer a Constitutional Republic or Democracy per your understanding.

We are simply an Oligarchy ruled by judges with mere figureheads quasi-elected or appointed to carry out Articles I and II of the Constitution under the tyrannical authority of Article III.

Dystopia, you are a fan, eh?

I don't know who Sorter is, but for this statement to be true he has to be a jackass.

Agreed. Some of us (including me) are too prone to outrage addiction. There's enough ACTUALLY outrageous behavior out there to stir (accurate) anger.

U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell issued a temporary restraining order that stops three parts of the executive order from being implemented against Perkins Coie — provisions that ban the firm's attorneys from entering government buildings, that restrict contact between federal officials and the firm's attorneys and that subject the firm's contracts with federal contractors to review by Trump administration agency heads.

I stand by my statement the ruling is retarded; however, it's not peak anymore.

Thanks for ALL that!

It is because very few of them actually have real sources of their own. They rely on the reporting of others to fuel their posting. That leads to poor vetting of material and and no real accountability. Many fail to even take the time to read the reporting they are ripping off.

Well, Lawfare judges have been overstepping their interpretive authority quite frequently. That much is obvious to anyone with the ability to reason.
