Russia is attempting to take Kyiv and Kharkiv; they've thus far failed to do so.
At this point, I'm not sure it even matters: Russian sanctions aren't going to end any time soon. Europe is boosting defense spending. Finland is requesting immediate entrance to NATO.
This looks like a massive miscalculation by Putin.

For a superpower, Russia is getting its arse kicked. Apparently nobody, including Putin, realized how shitty his military was. That’s the problem with cults of personality in a dictatorship - nobody was willing to tell him the truth.

Ukraines don’t want a war but nothing will come of this. Russia cannot get fuel to their tanks and convoys and are trying to establish a life line to them by a pause in combat. If they can do that, it will be a never-ending onslaught until they break Ukraine.
This is pointless. The only reason to meet is when he withdraws all his forces out of the country. This makes no sense

I would love to see this live-streamed.
I hope the Ukrainian delegation understands time is on their side. The longer Russia has to stay committed, the worse their economy gets and the more troops they slowly lose in guerilla fighting.

As was clearly shown in a 3 to 4 page thread already. When you agree to a delegation of peace talks...Something that common sense should prevail happens. It is a cease fire.
Let me repeat so it's gets through thick skulls. A CEASE-FIRE. In the talks is when all troops are pulled back. Biden didn't even want peace talks w/o his involvement to happen. Probably because the USA democrats occupied Ukraine with their NGO's and shady deals.
So how about using your thinking-cap and realizing the democrats should have pulled out of Ukraine and never has any right there. Tell me how the democrats have a right to occupy Ukraine?

lol what an embarrassment for Putin. It's not like Zelensky is going to agree to anything regarding NATO.
Basically the agreement will be something symbolic that will attempt to let Putin save face. Russia will be worse off after the invasion attempt than after.
