The problem isn't the messaging. It's the actual policies, whatever they are.

It isn’t the “messaging” that is the problem. It’s a core group of Republicans that hold up every piece of legislation that might actually make an impact like removing most of the DOGE cuts, refusing to remove the filibuster, doing absolutely anything to fix immigration, voter ID, etc. etc.

If Trump gets rid of Stephen Miller then you know he’s lost his way and is not America First anymore.

What policies? You bitched about DOGE cuts, tariffs, and tax cuts for the “rich”. That’s the problem you don’t understand anything economically that doesn’t involve more government spending

You understand that the Democrats will eventually control the Senate again, right?

The white liberal policies you want are proven not to be effective.

Huge mistake IMO. That was the lowest of low hanging fruit. So easy to score big political points with this but it’s just an opportunity missed now.

You’ll get shite for this comment. But you aren’t entirely wrong. 47 has not learned much from the mistakes of 45 as far as policy implementation goes.

That said, it’s an institutional feature that basically nothing can happen when Congress has slim majorities in both chambers. It was done that way to force compromise but we’re in an era where compromise is considered evil by both sides, so here we are. Congress has been useless for a generation.

You understand that if they don’t pass any actual bills to accomplish what they claim to support then everything Trump has done ie immigration and DOGE will be undone in day 1 of the next Presidency and will pass everything the Democrats put forth? I doubt you understand that or likely don’t care

That is the case already. Getting rid of the filibuster doesn’t make that any less difficult. In fact it makes undoing things easier.

It’s almost like our entire system of government is built around consensus and not forcing things down the throat of a slim majority government.

They tried this fake news story last week. Paul Sperry must have copied off of fake news.

It was like the Susie Wiles was hindering RFKJ fake story.

Consensus? Lol that’s cute! Imagine believing the Democrats would be willing to come up with a consensus on immigration, debt, the size of the government, and voter ID? Sure thing princess, you sound like a child
