The GOPe immediately hung their hopes on him on his 2022 re-election night. Within minutes of the results being announced, they were all-in on Ron... until they weren't, when they figured out Trump wasn't going anywhere and Ron wasn't getting elected President.

It's really not odd at all if you think about it. They needed Ron to be the new MAGA, to take that support from Trump. That wasn't going to happen if all the RINOs and GOPe behind pressuring Ron to run were all out there publicly endorsing him. They had to keep it quiet. But enough information was available, and watching the GOPe cucks at FOX fawning over him, made it obvious they were behind Ron's campaign. They underestimated Trump though... again.

I don't like her. She shouldn't be allowed to run for President.
However, that being said, she does sound like the only adult in
