Paul Manafort, President Donald Trump's former campaign chairman, has agreed with federal prosecutors to plead guilty in special counsel Robert Mueller's probe, court filings Friday show.

A superseding criminal information against Paul J. Manafort, Jr., 69, of Alexandria, Va., was filed Friday in the District of Columbia, which alleges a conspiracy against the United States (money laundering, tax fraud, failing to file Foreign Bank Account Reports, violating the Foreign Agents Registration Act, and lying and misrepresenting to the Department of Justice) and a conspiracy to obstruct justice (witness tampering).

Looks like he won't be cooperating. Just a straight plea.

He got caught with tax issues? I'm surprised he wasn't put at the top of the IRS.

Oh.

Wait.

That alone is why he is pleading guilty. He'll die in prison if he's convicted of the other charges. Will probably get 10 years and serve about 5.

What exactly would a guy who was a part of Trump's campaign for 3 months have that he could bargain with? Do you really think that Trump and co would let an outsider in on their plans if they were really involved in some big scheme to steal the election with help from Russia?? The man was barely a part of the campaign and yet he has some incredible, unbreakable loyalty to Trump? GTFO with that shite. If he had anything, he would have rolled on Trump in a heartbeat to save his own arse.

Was he laundering money back in 2005 in anticipation of Trumps 2016 Presidential campaign.
