I read the tagging and thought there would be something to dispute, but no. Nail on the head. He jist said it in a way as to not spare feelings. If Tatum or the Hodgetwins said that (they pretty much do, often) nobody would bat an eye.

When you lie, you lose all credibility to your argument.
He was not jogging, Michael Brown didn't have his hands up, Trayvon Martin was not just minding his own business, and George Floyd wasn't choked to death.
When you have to LIE to embelish the situation, you completely lose your audience. There might have been wrongs in some of those situations, but lying about it is never going to get people's attention.
