We may as well face it now folks, if this turns into a war we will not only have to fight Iran, we will have to fight the progressive left here on our own soil. There is no doubt they are going to assist Iran carry out attacks against American citizens here in the States and we better be ready to respond accordingly.

Our republic and way of life is worth fighting for and defending and the time is near. Stay true and vigilant good people of America, we will win this fight and can put an end to the progressive lefts bullshite for good

That's exactly what it's about.

I make a post. You don't like it, so you try to steer things your way while ignoring what's inconvenient to that. You did it in the other thread, and I wasn't the only one who noticed. At least you had the sense to walk it back over there.

I have no interest in a conversation with someone who is emotional, reactionary, and ignorant to anything I have to say.

Get over it and move on if you don't like it.

Waiving the white flag already, eh? That didn't take long.

He should have waived it on the first page due to the crushing blows he was receiving without effectively counterpunching.

If anything, the criticism was that he wasn't aggressive enough, as word came out that he mixed several earlier opportunities to pull the trigger.

There has been much less partisan bickering on this than I expected. CNN has been reasonably fair so far which is shocking.

You can hide behind semantics about how the situations are clearly different, and you would be correct.

However, at it's base level, Osama was a man responsible for an attack that killed many Americans. Soleimani was a man responsible for the death and maiming of many Americans. It's a perfectly fine comparison if you aren't looking to be pedantic.

And the same people who are lauding this action would be condemning it if Obama made the decision.

Why pretend that isn't true?

Universal appreciation for the death of OBL is what I remember. I'm not sure why you are going with an angle that has already be proven to be untrue.

It isn't semantics. It's a flawed comparison, and one that isn't a useful counterpoint.

But sure, it's a perfectly fine comparison if you force it enough and if it's convenient to your point.

Hardly.

How many of us were pissed the night Bin Laden was killed? This guy was directly responsible for the deaths of hundreds of Americans and the maiming of thousands more. His death makes the world a better place.

I don't like it because you don't add anything of value. All you are doing is shitposting. It's counterproductive.

t. You did it in the other thread, and I wasn't the only one who noticed.

No i didn't. Or maybe i did. I said your only position in that other thread was to troll other posters. If that, indeed, was your point in the thread, then i apologize.

What did i walk back?

Emotional? Have i started cursing (like you did) other than saying the word "shitposting"? Have you added anything of value? No, you haven't. You haven't said ANYTHING. That is the point. You make comments that take no position one way or the other because you are AFRAID to take a position because then you'd be forced to defend it.

I made a point in this thread, that when Obama killed Bin Laden, posters were not against that. You basically replied with "nuh uh". When i asked you to expound, you retreated back into your hole.

Get over it and move on if you don't like it.

I think i will keep on. You are calling me emotional when clearly this post you made is based on emotions. You're funny.

Any man, no matter their position, who kills Americans is a fair target. If Obama would have killed this a-hole a few years ago, this board would be rejoicing in his demise. He killed American soldiers. In my mind, he's no different than Bin Laden. My enemy is my enemy.

How is it a flawed comparison? Will you respond with insight, or will you respond with "well if you can't see how it's flawed, then i won't tell you"?

This is silly.

You need to admit that.

So your position is that I was justified in my appreciation of OBL's death, but I should condemn Soleimani's?

I'm sure if Obama did this, most of this board would be

good with it.

The only part of the Binladen hit that bothered me was the throwing away of a body. Had not seen this in my life time before. Some one might have some insight or knowledge of a precedent prior.

You forget that he is above such petty discussions. His reality is his reality, no matter the color of the sky in his world.

Yet my reply was more than sufficient.

Word count doesn't mean a thing.

Telling indeed.
