Thune and his cadre are TDS riddled buffoons. In so far as Parliamentarian Elizabeth McDonough enables Thune and company to oppose Trump, and hold up their hands saying "It's not us. It's her," she is a perfect pawn in the game.

Her rulings have been by the book. That is the point. She is the scape goat. However, parliamentary rules are not laws. A simple majority can move to suspend the rule or move to replace a rule. The cowards and shills are hiding behind procedure. You can bet that the Dems if they held the majority would suspend any rule if it meant impeachment of Trump or accomplishing a major piece of their strategy.
Securing elections is foundational to the survival of a United States that anybody can recognize.
