i find it irresponsible they did not have their own servers. Amateur. Gab already has proven superiority because they own their servers.

I wonder if some porn sites have their own servers with extra space to lease. The porn business is not going to be vulnerable to Amazon.

Servers need to be housed overseas somewhere.
Also need to make a cloudfare knockoff for their own personal use,to protect themselves from the simplest but very annoying attacks.

I hope this Subject will remain at the top of our Board. I know it's too much to expect Chicken to do a Sticky...but if he plans on keeping TD Poliboard (for whatever reason), the he will have to consider having a Server Source that won't pull his chain.
Independence is the basis for speaking truth to power. I'm pretty damn computer ignorant, but I will make the move if the smart guys on our Board lay out the map.

This old cheap laptop that I'm using, is running on fumes, every day that it still works is a surprise, but I'm going to run it into the ground. I rebuilt an old gateway laptop that was 10 years old, new display, hard drive and doubled the RAM, spent about 75 bucks on that, but it'll be ready to go when this one craps out.
First time I've done anything like that, but it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I've only started it a couple of times, but it seems to work fine.
