If a group of people successfully sue a manufacturer who's product did not fail, do you think that doesn't leak into other lines of product?
I'm going to pull a Biden and duck your question. I'm a retired research scientist, not a lawyer.

What next?
Sue car manufacturers because someone used the vehicle to mow down a crowd?
Sue alcohol manufacturers for drunk driving accidents?
Sue God because the men who rape women have peckers?

If they succeed with their plan we might as well throw them in a lake, We will never be able to use them for anything, including self defense without risking major fines and prison time.

So there is no law that a minor can't order a firearm then. Maybe that is what is going to be the basis of this lawsuit. Just an assumption on my part.
1- You cannot order a gun and have it shipped to your house. It doesn’t matter what age you are.
2- the firearm is sent to a licensed dealer, not directly to you (that would be illegal).
3- the licensed dealer performs a federal background check including ID requirement, before you could take possession of the firearm.

The kid was of legal age and bought the firearm legally. What can the manufacturer be held liable for
Like there needs to be a valid basis for a lawsuit.
Only when judges start hammering these fricking lawyers and their clients under Rule 11 will this shite abate.

Eh. First rule of law suits, sue everyone and let the judge sort it out.

Don’t get why this is a gun manufacturers fault.

Same. Just bought a Kel Tec sub 2000 and doggone it, boating accident. What are the odds?

The issue is if an underage person can order a firearm.
Have you seen a date on the receipt that Ramos showed for the firearm? I’ve seen the receipt but I couldn’t see a date on it. He bought the guns on separate days - May 17 and May 20. He could have ordered it on his birthday (May 16) and then picked it up at the FFL dealer location on the 17th or 20th.
