Happy with the senate pick ups and knew history says the house was going to flip. What nobody looks at is the massive aouns of cash that had to be spent to flip it. That on top of Beto’s expenses is a hit to the pocketbook.

2020 will be glorious after the House screws the pooch with its TDS. They just can’t give it up. If they would and actually legislate and pass soon decent stuff it would help them in 2020 but they won’t.

The more you rely on yourself and the less you rely on government the less election results affect you. I've survived the Carter administration and a double dose of an Obama administration. No matter what happened tonight I was going to survive it.

I'm not saying elections aren't important but the next politician that calls me or knocks on my door and asks me what can they do for me will be the first one. I'm not as happy as I wanted to be. I'm also not as unhappy as I could have been. My life is still going to go on tomorrow and whatever mistakes the country makes tonight it will have the chance to fix two years from now.

R’s now are in clear control of 2/3 branches of govt with the last being a split. I am good with it because the judicial branch is about to be pushed to strict constructionists across the board.

The good guys still hold the Senate. The stacking of the courts can continue.

Really? Sorry to hear that, bud.

County went BLUE

my boss was the most popular elected official 86 % approval rating, 20 point lead in polls

but 100,000 straight ticket dems votes means none of that matters

Relieved. Both that it’s over for the most part, and that there will now be a check on Trump. Like the parachute finally opened. Hopefully not too late.

All things considered it was a pretty good night.

I would have loved to hold the house but that was just not going to happen.

the historical midterm phenomenon is extremely powerful.

Things are actually set up very well for 2020

Wonderful. The good guys have the house and picked up governors seats. Very close in Texas and Florida and Georgia.

Expiration date on the GOP fascists is coming soon.

Mostly meh...but not happy about how things went here in Nevada.

Not a great night when the most notable GOP win here was by a former brothel owner who passed away last month.

The stock market futures are up. If they’re ok I guess I’ll be ok.

Sorry you have issues TigerKnights. My brother is also a deviant who feels put upon and has raw hatred in his soul toward those who make him feel inferior. We (other siblings) have learned to boost his self esteem and he is more sociable in our older age. Being a dem is an outlet for his hatred we have learned.

Beware of your wish for the demise of the Republican party. You will then be limited in your more docile ways of "getting even"

Hate that we lost the house, but with the senate being solid Republican we can stop any stupid bills the house passes.

Alabama had every statewide office go to the Republicans and kept control of the state house and senate, so that is good.

Nice troll post kid. Believe me the only inferiority complex is yours. Republicans are the party of hate and violence and terrorism.

The demise of your party will finally restore an actual left right dynamic in US politics. Not right and far right as we have now.
