You know, they use metrics for extrapolating this stuff. SFP is going to SFP and say that since only 1,400 were reported, by God that's all that ever occured.
The stats show that only 15% of rapes go reported. Which is a frickin travesty obviously. So you can use this to get an idea of how many actually happened in Rotherham during the timeframe and then scale that up to a national level.
No matter what the actual number is, it is very high. Too high.
And it shouldn't surprise anyone that SFP is trying to call it all into question. Par for the course for that frickin creep.

Frankly, this post is hate speech as is the linked news story. All it does is create negative images of a targeted class of people. It is more proof of how such hate is used to whip up hysteria in people. This post should be deleted.

I'm pointing out how much of the claims in OP are assumptions as well, just giving a polarized example. That's why the details matter so much (and why that's important before the conversation can even start, or else we don't know what we're even discussing)
This is just highlighted by your question. It seems valid if you accept one pole of the assumption, but it makes no sense on the other.
