The 20% tweet is actually dumber than the original suggestion that teachers should carry guns.

Well if schools are being dubbed "war zones" by the left and the MSM, why wouldn't you want those being attacked at these schools not have the proper equipment to defend themselves?

You sound like a snowflake.

No. Just... no. The federal government bureaucracy is the last thing we need getting more involved in this (especially to that extent).

Amazing isn't it.

There was a time when guns pickup truck racks were commonly seen in the high school parking lot, and no one was shooting up schools.

Then the left purges schools of morality and discipline, and now we have to count on the teachers to shoot people.

Well, then, the shootings wont stop. You have to have a physical deterrent. Most of these shooters happily commit suicide after the act, so they aren't going to be "scared" to walk in there and face return fire.

What you need are measures to stop them from getting in the school in the first place. This means a strict policy of locked doors with guards at every entry point. Metal detectors at the entrance points would be a plus as well.

A better option is to hire a real PROFESSIONAL security force for schools, like the TSA. It will never happen, though, because Washington is too cheap

State responsibility...

They issue truancy laws forcing kids to be there...it's on them

That is possibly the most laughable statement ever made on this board

Several very stupid tweets capped by arguably the smartest tweet his stubby thumbs have ever mushed out.

Three guesses which one this board will fail to discuss.

So, assistant principal is "the one" and is busy dealing with Johnny dipshit on the other side of the school from where the "secure" gun is when the shooting starts.

As has been pointed out. You may only have one person carrying concealed on that campus, but as long as potential shooters don't know who it is, everyone's a potential threat to HIM.

I’m against the average teacher carrying a gun, but if they have military training, I’m completely fine with it and can see it as a deterrent.
