I will be strongly pushing Comprehensive Background Checks with an emphasis on Mental Health. Raise age to 21 and end sale of Bump Stocks! Congress is in a mood to finally do something on this issue - I hope!

The 20% tweet is actually dumber than the original suggestion that teachers should carry guns.

The mental midget is at it again.

Sure it's an arbitrary number, but do give us your reasoning.

Hahahaha. You moron

That is the idea, a few teachers armed, but nobody knows which ones

Equals

All armed in the eyes of a shooter

I am no fan of teachers carrying weapons. That's one thing I agree with liddle Marco on. Now, if a school administrator wants to keep a weapon somewhere secure in the school, I am cool with that.

A better option is to hire a real PROFESSIONAL security force for schools, like the TSA. It will never happen, though, because Washington is too cheap.

My chemistry teacher in high school was retired US Navy. I would have been just fine with him carrying. However I went to a nice private high school and realize that there are probably hundreds of crappy public inner city high schools across the country where this is a terrible idea.

Did I ever tell you the story of when the cop shot the Homeland Security agent at a school shooting?

Just as many people shot/injured by cops as were by the shooter.

Exactly.

There is armed security at most public places. Malls. Banks. Airports. Stadiums. Courthouses. But not schools? Do schools even have security plans besides hide under the desk? shite. Most public universities have their own police force. You’re telling me we can’t have a security plan, with security officers in an elementary school?

There is no reason whatsoever that schools should not be secured in the same way other public entities are. None.

It makes a hell of a lot more sense than trying to fit on the head of a pin which gun you want to ban.

It’s dumber to give guns to the 20% of teachers that have gun training than just to give guns to everyone that manages an attendence book?

u dum

Our great country has progressed so far. We have gone from teachers cannot use a paddle on students to give the teachers guns to stop killer students.

God help us.
