I guess this is what antifa members do when they're not wearing masks and beating people with bike locks.

This is a bad dude and we don't need him around, anymore.
25 years isn't really enough for this, IMHO.

Good thing this isn't par for the course in Oregon
local Oregon newspaper
quote:
Michael David Gaither, 40, of Klamath Falls, was arrested April 6 for allegedly posing as a 15-year-old boy to trick a 14-year-old female relative into sending him nude photos via Facebook and email. Gaither also allegedly had sexually explicit conversations with the victim repeatedly during 2017 and at one point talked about meeting with the victim in California.
Gaither has been charged with second-degree online sexual corruption of a child, second-degree encouraging child sex abuse and two counts of using a child in a display of sexually explicit conduct. He is expected to enter a plea to the charges April 16 and faces up to 20 years in prison on his highest counts.
¦ David George Otey III, 22, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, was booked into the Klamath County Jail Thursday for the alleged sexual abuse of a young girl between 2007 and 2010 in Klamath County. The assaults began when the victim was 7 years old and court records indicated she was known to Otey.
Otey has been charged with two counts of first-degree sodomy, three counts of first-degree sexual abuse and four counts of first-degree rape and faces at least 25 years in prison due to the age of the victim. He was released Monday after posting 10 percent of $50,000 bail with orders to have no contact with the victim.
¦ Billy Joe Smith, 26, of Sprague River, was arrested March 30 in Humboldt County, Calif., and is awaiting extradition to Klamath County for allegedly impregnating an 11-year-old relative in November. Police learned of the abuse March 9 after the victim was found to be 18 weeks pregnant. She allegedly said Smith was the Father.
Smith was indicted Thursday for incest, first-degree sexual abuse and two counts of first-degree rape and faces at least 25 years in prison due to the age of the victim. A local court date has yet to be scheduled.
¦ Additionally, former Brixner Junior High School math teacher Matthew Laurence Walker, 36, of Klamath Falls, was sentenced April 4 to 140 days in jail after being convicted Feb. 7 for taking up-skirt photos of female students. He was also sentenced to three years of probation, during which time he may not have contact with minors unless allowed by the court, may not frequent areas where minors gather and must undergo sex offender treatment.
Walker was arrested May 23, 2017, for invasion of personal privacy after taking photos of the underpants of unwitting victims. The girls were between ages 6 and 11.

Yeah even if he does the full 25 (doubtful), he will still likely have lead in the pencil when he gets out and will still be twisted.

Side question:
Would this board support an abortion in this case?

This type of case, is why I am not totally anti-abortion, even though the thought of it disgusts me.

He must have pleaded to something else as well. After about 15 seconds of research, First Degree Rape is a Class A felony in Oregon. Class A felonies carry a maximum of 20 years.
I got curious when I noticed the article said he was sentenced the same day as the plea. That tells me he either got the max or it was a negotiated sentence with the ADA.
Sauces:

Did the victim have an abortion? Or was the baby actually carried to full term?
I can’t imagine a mother being only 11 years older than her child. Would be creepy and sick beyond belief.

Agree - I am trying to mud check the religious right nuts on this board: Tell me why you would oppose abortion in this case?
