Just saw a vid that said almost 90% of Canada's TP comes from the US. Be a shame if we tariffed TP at 1000% going into Ontario.

Ontario has 60+ hydro power plants including several on the Niagara River. Most of the border states don't have that capacity for low cost generation, especially on a large river like the Niagara.

I don’t know Doug fords whole story, but I know his family has held many prominent positions in Canada including his brother who was literally a crackhead while mayor of Toronto. Maybe Trump should say 25% tariffs on every other province and 50% on Ontario. Guys like this like to feel seen. If he earns Ontario the highest tariffs in Canada he will be.

Lots and lots of Canadians have winter homes in Florida because they can go there and stay away from the brutal cold of winter in Canada.
Trump should change it to 1 month. It'll have the effect of creating a purchasing boom from sales of homes and condos as the Canadians bail and sell these homes.
